The Fair of Local Products “Golden colors” Opened in Bijambare

Organized by the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas, the traditional fair of local products “Golden Colors” was opened on 6 October in the area of ​​the Protected Landscape “Bijambare”. Those present were addressed by Sanja Zagorac, assistant mayor of Ilijaš Municipality, and Asad Jelešković, director of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas. After the welcome speeches, the youngest members of KUD “Ilijaš” from Ilijaš performed a very interesting cultural and artistic program.

The fair lasts until Saturday, 7 October, and at it the local community from the area that gravittates to Bijambare, 10 associations of local producers, will present their autochthonous products and handicrafts.

The “Golden Colors” fair has been held since 2011 and is an example of successful cooperation between the local community and the protected area. The local community has recognized the prosperity of the protected area as its own and is fully involved in the work and issues of the Protected Landscape “Bijambare”.
