On 22 April, Earth Day was marked at the Bentbaša ProtectedLandscape through an event organized by the Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas.
The celebration attracted significant media attention and featured a rich and engaging programme performed by students of Primary School Vrhbosna. The students also prepared an exhibition showcasing creative products made from recycled materials, highlighting the importance of recycling and environmental protection.
It is worth noting that events of this kind have been organized continuously since 2011 as part of a project dedicated to marking important environmental dates in cooperation with primary and secondary schools. Through this initiative, more than 18,000 students have participated in environmental education and awareness-raising activities, contributing to the promotion of sustainable practices and environmental stewardship among young people.
