On 29 May, an exhibition showcasing cultural and artistic creations by children from preschool institutions and institutions for special education in Sarajevo Canton was held at the Protected Landscape area of Bentbaša, titled “Games Then and Now”. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education of Sarajevo Canton and the Institute for the Development of Pre-University Education of Sarajevo Canton, with over 300 children participating from ten preschool institutions in the municipalities of Stari Grad and Centar.

The children engaged in various games such as tug-of-war, sack races, egg-in-a-spoon races, and more. The aim of this event is to revive traditional games and introduce them to the youngest generations. Children experienced the childhood games of their grandparents, integrating these forgotten games into their contemporary world. Such games never lose their appeal and freshness, as demonstrated by this event.
