Organised by the Sarajevo-based Association for the Promotion of Sport and Tourism “SporTur”, in cooperation with numerous institutions, including the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas, the 12th edition of the “Bentbaša Cliff Diving” competition was held in the Bentbaša area on 9 August.
The best divers from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region showcased their skills in front of a large audience, with prizes awarded to the winners following the competition. The diving event is a major attraction for spectators while also promoting the Bentbaša area, its distinctive features and its potential in a new and innovative way.
In addition to cliff diving, the event featured a range of other activities, including sports climbing training for children led by members of the Mountain Rescue Service (GSS). The Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas also had a prominent promotional stand at the event.
