The “Days of Protected Natural Areas of Sarajevo Canton” event at Bijambare concluded on 5 June. During the two-day event, students from “Srednje” elementary school explored the area and created detailed drawings, while another group installed bat houses. The Director of the Institution, Asad Jelešković, awarded the best artists, and all participants received certificates for their workshop participation.

This was second event in a row which brought together a wide range of participants engaged in activities related to protected natural areas, including biodiversity research and artistic endeavors. The event also celebrated World Environment Day, attracting a diverse group from elementary school to university students. An important objective of the Institution is to involve young people in the management and conservation of protected areas through practical education about their natural values.
