The Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas has officially received a certificate for being selected as one of the Top 100 Good Practice Stories. The 2024 selection includes the Nature Monument “Skakavac” with its good practice story, “Hiking, Hikers, and Local Tradition.”
Participants in the competition were first evaluated based on key criteria from the Green Destinations standard to determine whether they met the basic sustainability requirements. After meeting these criteria, they developed an inspiring good practice story. The designation of the Nature Monument “Skakavac” as one of the Top 100 Green Destinations for 2024 confirms the recognition of the unique appeal of this area and its efforts to uphold responsible tourism standards.
