The festival also marked the 20th anniversary of the existence of the “Naše ptice” society, and on that occasion certificates of appreciation were presented to the friends of the society, among them was the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas.

At the festival, it was possible to find out information about new nesting sites, areas of international importance for birds and interesting finds from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region. During the Open Doors of Bird Festival, interested visitors could look at promotional and educational materials and ask everything they were interested in.

It should be noted that the Institution has a long and successful cooperation with the Ornithological Society “Naše ptice” and that it will undoubtedly continue in the future.
