As part of the Sarajevo Destination Festival, which was held from 26 to 27 April, the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas was represented in the green destinations of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the nature monument “Skakavac” along with Bosanska Krupa, the city of Konjic, the city of Trebinje and the National Park ” Kozara”. The goal of presenting green destinations at the festival is to familiarize visitors with the project of green destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the aspiration that the destinations’ management be sustainable, as well as the tourist offer and the strict criteria of Green Destination in obtaining the green destination certificate, which promotes destinations at the world level through sustainable tourism.
The presentation of the green destinations of BiH is supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
