On 15 and 16 December, training for employees in the areas of fire protection and occupational safety was held at the premises of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas. A lecturer from the Sarajevo-based company “Vatrosistemi” introduced participants to different types of fires, firefighting equipment, and the procedures to be followed in the event of a fire. In the second part of the training, she addressed issues related to occupational safety, the responsibilities of employers and employees, and the protective equipment used when performing specific tasks.
The training also included discussions on situations employees may encounter during their work, potential risk factors, and procedures for minimizing those risks. Legal regulations that employers and employees are required to comply with were also discussed.
