A meeting of the Ministry of Communal Economy, Infrastructure, Spatial Planning, Construction and Environmental Protection of the Canton Sarajevo, the Ministry of Economy of the Canton Sarajevo, the Attorney General’s Office of the Canton Sarajevo, the “Sarajevo-šume”, the Municipalities of Centre and Ilijaš as well as the Cantonal Public institution for Protected Natural Areas (Institution) was held on 14 February in the premises of the Institution.
The meeting was organised to discuss the proprietary relations on the land in the scope of the protected natural areas of Sarajevo Canton, which are under the authority and management of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas and how to solve them. In order for the Institution to implement the activities contained in the management plans, it is necessary to first solve the proprietary issues in the protected areas and thus create the conditions for the improvement of all segments of nature protection, tourism development and education.
