In the organization of the Ornithological Society “Our Birds” from Sarajevo, as part of the project “Protection of forest species of birds“, funded by the Ministry of Economy of Sarajevo Canton – Forestry Administration, on 16 November, an educational workshop for rangers was held in the Information and Education Center in Bijambare, as well as employees of Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas and interested employees of “Sarajevo-šume”.
The goal of this project is for the participants, through learning about birds and their protection, to protect and preserve nature for their future. The project also aims to involve as many interested parties as possible in the processes of getting to know and study birds, as well as the processes of their protection and the protection of their habitats (forests).
