As part of the “Bentbaša Summer Fest” event, organized by the Sarajevo-based NGO “SportTur,” a panel conference was held on July 2 at the Small Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Dariva, Sarajevo. The conference brought together numerous participants from the fields of tourism, culture, sports, and environmental protection, including representatives from the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas, who highlighted the challenges they face in managing these areas.
The panel focused on raising public awareness about the importance of environmental protection and the sustainable use of natural resources for organizing sports and tourism events. The event also featured a fascinating exhibition of retro photographs showcasing Sarajevo and the Bentbaša area.
