In the organization of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas, on the International Day for Biological Diversity was marked on 22 May in the area of the “Vrelo Bosne” Nature Monument. The students of the “Fatima Gunić” elementary school from Sarajevo prepared a rich and interesting program. Plays, recitals, dance and singing were performed that had this globally significant day as their theme.
This event was held as part of the project marking important ecological dates in cooperation with primary and secondary schools, which the Institution has been implementing for the fourteenth year in a row, and which more than 15,000 students have gone through. The young population is one of the most important collaborators of the Institution in the mission of protecting nature and natural values.
