On Wednesday, 1 May, the event “Art Occupation Sarajevo 2024” was officially closed at the “Hills” hotel in Ilidža. Many guests were addressed by Asad Jelešković, Director of Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas, Mirza Ajkunić, selector of “Likovna okupacija”, Elvis J. Kurtović, founder of the His Meteors group, and Dalibor Ćetković on behalf of the participating painters. After the address, poets Rosana Dvoržak, Sara Novković, Mošo Novković and Hrvoje Peruzović read their verses. At the end of the program, selector Mirza Ajkunić handed over certificates of appreciation to the participants.
At this event, painters from Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina also visited Vrelo Bosna, where they painted numerous paintings with motifs from this area. Vrelo Bosne has always been an inspiration to artists who recorded its timeless beauty and atmosphere with a brush, word or camera.
