A Memorandum of Understanding was signed in the City Administration of Trebinje on 30 March. The signatories of the Memorandum were representatives of GIZ, “Green Vision” and each of the six destinations in Bosnia and Herzegovina that were selected for the continuation of the “EU4Business Recovery” project, which is co-funded by the European Union and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Director Asad Jelešković had the honour to sign the Memorandum on behalf of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas, thus making the start of the certification of the Nature Monument “Skakavac” official as one of the six destinations that will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina in the certification process for “Green Destinations”.

In addition to the Nature Monument “Skakavac”, the municipalities of Bosanska Krupa, Šamac, Konjic, the National Park “Kozara” and the city of Trebinje are participating in this process.

In this way, the natural beauty of Sarajevo Canton is promoted in Europe and the world, as well as the good work of Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas.
