The replacement of worn-out wooden outdoor furniture with new items is currently underway in the protected natural areas of Sarajevo Canton. This includes benches, waste bins, picnic shelters, wooden pedestrian paths, and fences. The implementation of this public procurement is important for the Institution, as it contributes to the overall appearance of the areas under its management and ensures a more pleasant and safer stay for visitors.
The Institution takes care to ensure that the furniture blends discreetly into the surroundings, so that it does not stand out from nature but rather becomes a part of it. Emphasis is placed on the use of natural materials, particularly wood, making the furniture both functional and practical while remaining in harmony with the natural environment in which it is installed.
