On June 13, the final conference of Interreg 2014-2020 transnational programs Adrion, Danube and Mediterranean was held at the “Hills” hotel in Ilidža and was organized by the Directorate for European Integration (DEI), in which employees of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas also participated.

The participants of the conference in Sarajevo were welcomed by the Director of the Directorate Edin Dilberović and Gianluca Vannini from the Delegation of the European Union in BiH and emphasized the importance of participation in these programs through projects implemented in partnership with member states and IPA beneficiaries.

Representatives of the governing bodies of all three programs presented data and information about participation in the programs. Two panel discussions and a conversation about lessons learned, as well as future models of transnational cooperation, were held.

The Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas had the opportunity to present implemented activities at its stand, as well as to share experiences of successfully implemented projects in the field of nature protection, namely “Adratic Caves” and “Eco Karst” under the Adrion and Danube programs.
