In 2023, 1,171 visitors to the Nature Monument “Vrelo Bosne” gained free entry to the protected area based on 10 bottles inserted into the recycling machine. This means 11,171 fewer plastic bottles in nature or landfills.
The Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas has recognized the importance of this project with recycling machines, as well as the visitors, as shown by the above figures. Even in 2024, the trend continued, and according to data, the number of visitors who dispose in the recycling machine will be much higher than last year.
