The students of the High School for Environment and Wood Design from Sarajevo worked on the arrangement of forest stands in the area of the “Trebević” Protected Landscape as part of the celebration of Earth Day on 22 April and in organisation of the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas.
This action was held as part of the project of marking significant ecological dates in cooperation with primary schools, which the Institution has been implementing since 2011 and through which more than 15,000 students have passed. Through these events, students get involved in the work of protected areas and at the same time learn about the importance of protecting natural values.
