Organized by the Association for the Promotion of Sports and Tourism “SporTur” from Sarajevo, in collaboration with various institutions, including the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas, the 10th edition of the “Bentbaša Cliff Diving” competition took place on 4 August 2024 in the Bentbaša area. The best divers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the surrounding region, showcased their skills before a large audience. Following the competition, prizes were awarded to the winners. The diving event is a major attraction for spectators, while also creatively promoting the unique characteristics and potential of the Bentbaša area.
The cliff diving competition was part of the “Bentbaša Summer Fest,” which featured a variety of events, including sport climbing, with participation from members of the GSS Novi Grad Sarajevo, PD “Željezničar” from Sarajevo, and the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas.
