The World Day of Biological Diversity was marked on 22 May 2023 in the area of the Protected Landscape “Bijambare” and was organised by the Cantonal Public Institution for Protected Natural Areas. As part of the celebration, an art colony was organized where students of the First Elementary School of Ilidža painted scenes and details from this area. All pictures will be exhibited in the premises of the Institution.
The project of marking significant ecological dates in cooperation with primary and secondary schools has been implemented by the Institution for thirteen years in a row and more than 15,000 students have passed through it.
